Hi! I’m Lisa Hayes Cox—wife, mom, proud grandmother, retired educator, and the heart behind FTM Wellness.

I’m also a Natural Professional Bodybuilder, Certified Hormone Health Coach, Certified Personal Trainer, and Group Fitness, Pilates, and Yoga Instructor. But more than any title or certification, I’m passionate about helping women discover that it’s never too late to become stronger, healthier, and more confident.

For over 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of coaching women through every stage of life—from beginners taking their very first fitness class to athletes preparing for bodybuilding competitions. My greatest joy is watching women realize they’re capable of far more than they ever imagined.


My Story

Like many women, my journey hasn’t always been easy.

I’ve experienced the physical and emotional challenges of a total hysterectomy, menopause, injuries, setbacks, and the changing seasons that come with aging.

There were moments when I wondered if my strongest days were behind me.

Instead, they became the beginning of an entirely new chapter.

Through faith, consistency, education, and perseverance, I rebuilt my health, reclaimed my strength, and returned to the bodybuilding stage as a Natural Professional Bodybuilder in my late 40s. All of this allows me to continue as I enter my 60s and beyond.

That journey taught me something I now share with every client:

Fitness has no expiration date.

No matter where you’re starting—or starting over—it’s never too late to build strength, improve your health, and become the best version of yourself.


My Mission

At FTM Wellness, my mission is simple:

To educate, encourage, and empower women to live stronger, healthier, and more fulfilling lives.

I believe fitness is about so much more than losing weight or changing how you look.

It’s about having the strength and energy to enjoy life’s greatest blessings—whether that’s playing with your grandchildren, hiking a favorite trail, stepping onto a competition stage, or simply feeling confident in your own skin.

My goal is to help you create sustainable habits that support your body, mind, and spirit for years to come.
